The Westhope valley is a well kept secret being just 5 miles from the main A49. The valley is a delightful hideaway with few dwellings, beautiful scenery and a wide range of walks.

Church Stretton lies on the edge of the Long Mynd and boasts many interesting antique shops and some breathtaking views. Ludlow has a reputation for good food, unique shopping and regular race meetings at it's racecourse. Nearby is the Acton Scott Historic Working Farm, the film location for BBC TV's popular 'Victorian Farm' series. Craven Arms hosts the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre.
